Reason for Investigation Request

As with most requests we receive, the owner of this property contacted us for an investigation to have confirmation and peace of mind about the activity going on in her home. Phenomena reportedly started as long as ten years ago, but the owner states activity is not constant as sometimes there will be a year or two between occurrences. The most reported activity from the owner was an uneasy, creepy feeling in the bathroom. Several friends have witnessed the same feeling while in the home as well. A few times the owner states she woke up during the early hours of the morning and has smelled burnt toast and another time, a woman's perfume. Other activity includes clothes swaying on their own in the closet, a TV coming unplugged, a chair vibrating when sat on, and a lid popping off a container by unseen forces.

Research and Background on the Property

The site was built in 1984 and has had 2 previous owners, one of whom actually died in the house in 1992. Unfortunately, all of our research efforts did not turn up any info on the land so not much else is known about this property.

Our team had a lot of personal experiences during this investigation. Multiple equipment failures and battery drainage happened throughout the night. Cold spots in both the kitchen and bathroom – the one in the bathroom, our members actually felt it move. A black shadow was also seen on the door leading to the bedroom from the bathroom. In the daughter's room, one of the investigators experienced a cold spot on her leg. It is interesting to note that immediately after feeling the cold sensation on her leg, the investigator asked "If that was you that made my leg cold, will you make my arm cold as well?", and the Trifield Meter started beeping which was previously silent and had not been moved during that time. Other experiences in that room were the feeling of being watched and another member felt like spider webs were on the side of her face when nothing was there. There was also a black shadow or void in the closet of this room. One of the investigators noticed the void, but did not think much of it until later when he could clearly see the outline of shirts in the closet in the same spot as the void had previously been noticed. In the living room, an orb was seen moving with the naked eye by one of our members. Unfortunately, the night vision goggles he was using at the time did not have the equipment to record the phenomena. We did, however, capture a picture of the orb which is posted in our picture evidence section.

Final Analysis

Because we have so little actual evidence other than investigator's personal experiences, the results are inconclusive as to if there is actual paranormal activity in the home. We will be scheduling another investigation at this location in the future at the request of the home owner.
