Reason for Investigation Request
The owners of the Pappas House requested TCPS investigate while we were in town to see if we could find any evidence of some phenomena they had experienced. Some of the reports included feeling a presence under the front staircase, a door slamming, and a rocking chair that moved on its own accord. One family member was also touched in one of the downstairs bedrooms.
Research and Background on the Property
Not much research information was found for this property. We do know of reports of 2 deaths that occurred within the Pappas House. Both deaths were of natural causes.

TCPS had a team of eight members for the day of this investigation. We split the team up and had two groups of four members in the house at one time. Reported incidents from the first floor of a ceiling fan moving on its own seemed to pique the teams’ interest. Some members tested this and each time the tests were found inconclusive. There were reactions to requests to move an EMF meter but these results also proved inconclusive. No phenomenon was noted.
No activity was noted from the second floor of the house. There were no changes in temperature or EMF readings on the second floor. Some unknown sounds were found to be a dog outside.
Final Analysis
TCPS was not able to debunk some of the reported activity in this location. However, the team must take note that this is an old house, so some of the reports could be caused by changes in air temperature and wind. Although our time was limited in this location, we do not feel this home is haunted.
